Olimpio Financial Group - Managing Principal, and Founder

Olimpio Neu & Associates, Inc. - Principal, Co Founder

Sal Olimpio established Sal Olimpio & Co., P.C. in 1984 and since that time he has developed a corporation that maintains over 500 client relationships.

Sal has over 40 years experience in the accounting industry.  While establishing his career he has taken on many strong roles with various companies.  Sal began his career in 1969 after graduating with the University of Maryland, as a Audit Senior with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Washington D.C.  He then served as the Chief Financial Officer for Jordan Kitt Music in Vienna Virginia, and eventually became the Assistant Controller for Woodward & Lothrop.  Into the 9th year of his career, he relocated to Houston, TX and served as the Chief Financial Officer for Holcombe Lindquist.  A couple of years later, he made his home in Dallas, TX.  He spent the first 4 years as the Chief Financial Officer of Beasley Enterprises before he decided to open the doors of Sal Olimpio & Co., P.C.  Since then he has also established Olimpio Financial Group, Inc. (Consulting Firm), and Olimpio Neu & Associates (Registered Investment Advisors).

Sal currently leads the firm in all areas of accountancy, contracts part of his time as a financial consultant for some of our top clients, serves as a financial planner for many of our corporate and individual clients, is contracted to perform collateral audits, and also sells insurance to some of our clients to fulfill their personal needs.

Sal’s knowledge and refined public speaking skills have led to numerous radio and television interviews, talk show appearances, as well as key-note speaking presentations.  In furtherance of Sal’s career he is also the author of the Dallas Business Journal article, “Careful Planning Can Keep Family Business in the Family,” and the book “Taxpayer Dragonslayer” (Equitable Media Services), which is a consumer guide to solving IRS problems.

Incredibly, Sal does have some free time, and he has been pursuing his passion in learning to play jazz piano, and has been known to play on occasion at some of his favorite jazz venues.
